42,000 Plectrums

We were briefed to create the Key Art for Eric Clapton’s documentary, Life In 12 Bars.

There were very limited stills to choose from as the image rights were complicated and mostly held by 3rd parties. We felt that it would be better to create something from scratch in order to deliver something unique to the film.

The creative route we proposed was affectionately called Eric Plectrum. Created out of over 42,000 individual plectrums we produced an iconic and timeless image of the man himself.

World Premiere

We delivered the International Key art for Altitude Sales and the UK Quad artwork for Altitude Distribution.

An important factor for the release of the film in the UK was the live Q&A broadcast from the BFI Southbank for the world premiere with the man himself and the films director Lili Zanuck.

Screen Awards 2018

We were very proud to receive a nomination for Film Poster Of The Year, at the 2018 Screen awards, for our work on Eric Clapton: Life In 12 Bars.
